Booking Flights with GSA
Global Service Adventures participants come from all over the world to be part of our programs. This means we have a wealth of experience managing flight and travel logistics across international destinations.
That’s why Global Service Adventures strongly suggests that students book their Group Chaperoned Flight through the GSA Flights Division! Our dedicated team provides real-time monitoring and actively handles any flight difficulties, delays, or schedule changes as they arise.
Important Note: We cannot be held responsible for the coordination or modifications of flights not booked through our GSA Flights Division, as we do not have system access to modify external third-party flight bookings.

Chaperoned Group Flights
Chaperoned group flights are organized by GSA. Families living in the U.S. should book through our recommended route so students can fly together safely under staff supervision.
Passports & Visas
A valid passport is required for travel. Most destinations expect your passport to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your trip start date. We assist with consular guidelines.
Airport & Travel Support
Our team monitors and supports students and families throughout the travel day. Dedicated staff provide airport assistance, transfers, and 24/7 on-call dispatch.
Passport & Visa Requirements
To travel internationally (such as to Jamaica, Costa Rica, Belize, or the Dominican Republic), a valid passport is required. As a general rule, most immigration authorities expect your passport to be valid for at least 6 months after your trip start date.
Students traveling from outside the United States or holding non-U.S. passports should consult their local consulate regarding entry visas, validity dates, and specific travel restrictions. If you have any visa questions, please contact our team for assistance.
Chaperoned Group Flights
Chaperoned group flights are arranged and coordinated by Global Service Adventures. Families residing in the United States are encouraged to book through our recommended route so students fly together under designated GSA supervision.
*Please note: GSA does not control airline seat availability, route adjustments made by carriers, or the final number of participants selecting specific flight routes.
Alternate Itineraries & Individual Flights
For non-U.S. based students requiring alternate flight arrangements, or families using frequent flyer miles to book flights outside our recommended group route, a $150 transfer and coordination fee applies each way ($150 arrival / $150 departure).
Crucial: Please contact our office before booking any independent flights so our travel team can verify that your flight times align with our airport pick-up and departure schedule windows.
Airport & Travel Day Assistance
Our experienced staff actively monitors flight statuses, gate changes, and delays throughout travel days to support students and reassure parents. For designated group flights, chaperoned assistance is provided at key airport hubs to ensure a seamless transit from departure to destination.
