    About Global Service Adventures

Please read carefully - this page outlines the agreement between you and Global Service Adventures.

Global Service Adventures is the operating brand of Wanderlust Adventures Group LLC, a company incorporated in Florida, USA, working hand-in-hand with our Jamaica-based team to deliver transformative international educational travel. We design adventure expeditions, community service projects, cultural immersion experiences, language learning programs, sports tours, performance tours, and other educational programs for high school students, college students, groups, individuals, and families around the world.

By enrolling in any GSA program, you acknowledge that you've read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This agreement applies to every program participant and, where applicable, their parents or legal guardians. Together with your required participant forms and program-specific documentation, these terms make up the complete, legally binding agreement between you and GSA - and your enrollment and participation are contingent on accepting them.

    A Few Definitions

    • "Force Majeure" means any event beyond our reasonable control - acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, governmental actions, travel restrictions, civil unrest, terrorism, war, strikes, labor disputes, supplier failures, or infrastructure failures.
    • "Program" refers to any travel experience, educational tour, service learning trip, cultural immersion program, adventure activity, or related service GSA offers.
    • "Participant" includes everyone enrolled in or attending a GSA program, regardless of age.
    • "Group Leader" means the designated representative of a school, organization, or group booking GSA services.

    Enrollment and Application

    Application Requirements

To join a GSA program, every participant completes our standard application process:

    • Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of $95 (or the equivalent in the program's billing currency, e.g. USD or GBP) is required for each participant. This covers administrative costs and is non-refundable under all circumstances, including program cancellation by either party.
    • Deposit: A deposit of $200–$600 (or the currency equivalent) per participant is required at enrollment; the confirmed amount is displayed on WeTravel. Deposits are fully refundable for 30 days after payment, after which they become non-refundable.
    • Enrollment Confirmation: Your spot is confirmed only once GSA has received your completed application, required documents, and initial payment.
    • Non-Refundable Costs: Certain program components - visa fees, insurance premiums, airfare purchased on your behalf - are strictly non-refundable.

    Confirming Your Enrollment

Enrollment is confirmed only upon GSA's receipt and approval of your complete application materials, required initial deposit, all mandatory forms and documentation, and written confirmation from GSA.

    Capacity

Our programs operate with limited capacity and are filled first-come, first-served as complete applications and deposits are received.

    Program Pricing and Payments

Unless otherwise noted, your program price includes:

    • Activities not listed in the program itinerary
    • Medical expenses and treatment

    Payment Details

    • Payment Deadline: Your full program balance is due no later than 60 days before departure.
    • Payment Options: Pay in full at enrollment, or set up an approved installment plan with GSA.
    • Currency: All payments must be made in US dollars or GBP (£).
    • Late Enrollment: Enrolling within 60 days of departure requires immediate full payment and may carry additional late-enrollment fees.
    • Non-Payment: Missing a payment deadline may result in a $100 late fee per participant, program removal, or cancellation of service without refund.
    • Spot Availability: GSA reserves the right to reassign your program placement if payment obligations aren't met by the specified deadline.

    Price Adjustments

Program prices may be adjusted for cost increases exceeding 2% due to currency exchange fluctuations, fuel surcharges, government-imposed taxes or fees, or supplier cost increases. You'll receive 30 days' written notice of any price adjustment.

    Financial Assistance and Discounts

We are committed to making our programs accessible. Financial assistance and diversity grants may be available for eligible participants, subject to funding availability and application deadlines. Any awarded financial assistance or discounts will be applied directly to the final program balance and cannot be combined with other offers. If a participant withdraws or is dismissed, financial assistance awards are forfeited and cannot be redeemed for cash.

    Cancellations and Refunds

    If You Need to Cancel

    • More than 120 days before your program start date: 75% of your Program Fee (less deposit) is refundable.
    • 91–120 days before: 50% of your Program Fee (less deposit) is refundable.
    • 61–90 days before: 25% of your Program Fee (less deposit) is refundable.
    • 60 days or fewer before, through the end of the program: Your Program Fee is non-refundable for any reason - including illness, injury, voluntary withdrawal, personal emergencies, failure to obtain travel documents, or dismissal.

    If GSA Needs to Cancel

    • Cancellations within GSA's control: You'll receive a full refund of all payments made, less any non-refundable costs already incurred.
    • Force majeure cancellations: If we must cancel due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control - natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, government restrictions, or other extraordinary events - refunds or program credits will be determined at GSA's discretion, based on recoverable expenses and available alternatives.

    Costs That Are Immediately Non-Refundable

Airline tickets purchased by GSA, hotel deposits and non-refundable bookings, and specialized equipment or materials become non-refundable as soon as they're paid.

    Transfers and Substitutions

    • Transferring your program to different dates is subject to availability and a $150 administrative fee.
    • Substituting a different participant is permitted up to 30 days before departure, with a $100 processing fee.

    Program Changes and Itinerary Flexibility

We design every program itinerary with care, but circumstances beyond our control - flight delays, airline schedule changes, weather, third-party provider cancellations, strikes, civil unrest, or other unforeseen events - can require changes along the way.

When that happens, we make every reasonable effort to provide suitable substitutions and preserve the overall quality and educational value of your experience. These necessary modifications, and any changes to the itinerary or schedule after your program's official start date, do not constitute a withdrawal and do not entitle participants to refunds, credits, or compensation. Any additional costs tied to early departure or late arrival - separate transfers, flight changes, extra accommodations - are your responsibility.

    Travel Requirements and Responsibilities

    Travel Documents

You're responsible for a valid passport (valid 6+ months beyond your return date), required visas and entry permits, health certificates and vaccination records, and any other documentation required by your destination country.

    Health and Medical Requirements

Participants must complete medical disclosure forms, obtain required vaccinations before departure, and disclose any medical conditions that could affect participation. GSA reserves the right to require medical clearance or decline participation.

    Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants, and we recommend coverage that includes trip cancellation and interruption. Proof of coverage is required 30 days before departure. GSA offers coverage through BattleFace, which includes emergency assistance services - details and options are available on our website. You're also welcome to purchase alternative coverage from another provider, provided it meets our minimum requirements.

    Flight Information

Unless specifically stated in the program inclusions, participants are responsible for booking their own international flights to the designated arrival airport. GSA will provide recommended arrival and departure time windows. Participants must submit their confirmed flight itineraries to GSA no later than 45 days prior to departure. GSA is not responsible for any costs incurred due to flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets with flexible change policies and ensuring your travel insurance covers flight interruptions.

    Conduct and Safety Standards

    Our Code of Conduct

While on a GSA program, our staff are responsible for your safety and wellbeing - and in return, we ask every participant to follow instructions from GSA staff and local authorities, respect local customs, laws, and regulations, treat everyone with dignity and respect, refrain from illegal activities including substance abuse, and maintain behavior befitting our program's goals.

Global Service Adventures is committed to building a culture of inclusivity. We celebrate the differences our participants, staff, and families bring to our community, and we work hard to create a welcoming, positive, and safe environment for everyone. We have zero tolerance for bullying, so please make sure your behavior reflects our standards and code of conduct.

    Dismissal Policy

GSA may immediately dismiss a participant for violating local laws, using illegal drugs or consuming excessive alcohol, violent or threatening behavior, actions that endanger themselves or others, or failing to follow program rules or staff instructions. A dismissed participant forfeits all program fees and costs, is responsible for all expenses related to early departure, and may be subject to legal action where applicable.

    Safety Measures

We back every program with comprehensive safety protocols, including pre-departure safety briefings, 24/7 emergency communication systems, local emergency contacts and procedures, and ongoing risk assessment and mitigation.

    Liability and Risk Acknowledgment

    Assumption of Risk

International travel carries inherent risks - severe weather, different hygiene standards, limited infrastructure, civil unrest, crime, political instability, terrorism, limited medical care, and transportation delays among them. By enrolling, participants acknowledge and assume all risks of injury, illness, property damage, emotional trauma, or loss that may result from participating in a program, including risks arising from the negligence of third-party service providers beyond GSA's control. Participants release GSA from liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

    Media Rights and Usage

GSA reserves the right to use photos, videos, or testimonials from our programs for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes. Content participants create during a program - blogs, social posts, testimonials - may be used by GSA with attribution for promotional purposes. Participating in a program constitutes your consent to this usage, unless you provide written objection to GSA.

    Release and Indemnification

Participants - and parents or guardians, for minors - release GSA from all claims and agree to indemnify GSA against claims arising from their participation, except those directly caused by GSA's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

    Mandatory Documentation

    Required of Every Participant

    • Complete application with emergency contacts
    • Liability waiver and risk acknowledgment
    • Medical information and health disclosure
    • Code of conduct agreement
    • Travel insurance verification
    • Passport information form

    For Participants Under 18

    • Parent/guardian signatures on all forms
    • Notarized medical treatment authorization
    • Emergency contact information for parents/guardians
    • Disclosure of any special dietary or medical needs

    Deadlines

All documentation is due 45 days before departure. Late submission may result in program cancellation without refund.

    Privacy and Data Protection

GSA collects personal information necessary for program administration, safety, and communication - including contact information, medical data, emergency contacts, and travel document details - and uses it solely for program administration and coordination, safety and emergency procedures, communication with participants and families, and legal and regulatory compliance.

This information may be shared with program partners and suppliers as needed to deliver our services, medical professionals in emergency situations, government authorities when legally required, and the emergency contacts you designate. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. For full detail on how we collect, use, and protect your information, please see our Privacy Policy.

    Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the laws of Jamaica, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

    General Provisions

    • Entire Agreement: This Agreement, together with program-specific materials and required forms, is the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements.
    • Amendments: GSA reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and communicated to enrolled participants; continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
    • Severability: If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force and effect.
    • Waiver: GSA's failure to enforce any provision doesn't waive that provision or any other.
    • Assignment: Participants may not assign their rights or obligations under this Agreement without GSA's written consent. GSA may assign this Agreement to affiliates or successors.
    • Survival: Provisions relating to liability, indemnification, intellectual property, and dispute resolution survive termination of this Agreement.
